About Ryan
Ryan Roberts is a children’s book writer and host of the podcast, “My Favorite Kids’ Book”
When Ryan was a little girl, her parents told her that she could do anything she put her mind to.
And guess what?
She believed them.
While she still hasn’t mastered psychokinesis, Ryan has otherwise done everything she set out to do. (Even things that scared her.)
She’s been a veterinarian, a whitewater raft guide, a professional Mad Scientist, a radio DJ, and a roller derby player.
Since (re)discovering children’s books, Ryan’s current dream is to live a life that is immersed in children’s literature. Children’s books speak to Ryan’s inner self, which probably means she is actually a six-year-old masquerading as an adult.
Ryan wants kids to know that you can be more than one thing. In fact, she hopes that each child grows up to become ALL the things that they want to be!
Originally from Texas, Ryan now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, and little dog, Buzz.
Her sincerest wish for everyone is that they may follow their passions and see where they lead.
